Marcus Whitman is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Middle School Counselor to support the academic, social, and emotional well-being of students in grades [6-8]. The ideal candidate will provide guidance and counseling services, implement proactive programs, and collaborate with staff and families to foster a positive school environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and group counseling to students on academic, social, and emotional issues.
  • Develop and implement school-wide programs to promote mental health, well-being, and positive behavior.
  • Assist students with academic planning, goal setting, and career exploration.
  • Mediate conflicts and provide crisis intervention as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success.
  • Conduct assessments and interpret data to identify student needs and track progress.
  • Maintain confidentiality and accurate records in accordance with school policies and legal guidelines.
  • Promote an inclusive, safe, and supportive learning environment for all students.
$42,200 to $52,727
