Marcus Whitman CSD is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Long-Term Substitute Math Teacher to join our high school team. This position covers a leave of absence and requires someone who can effectively deliver engaging and rigorous math instruction, maintain classroom routines, and support student learning in alignment with our school’s standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach high school-level math courses

  • Plan and deliver daily lessons aligned to curriculum and learning goals.

  • Assess student understanding and provide timely feedback and grades.

  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, assignments, and assessments.

  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student achievement.

  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians as needed.

  • Uphold classroom management and maintain a positive, respectful learning environment.
