Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Spanish teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Spanish language instruction and possess the skills necessary to engage students from grades 7 through 12 effectively. This position offers the opportunity to inspire students in their language learning journey and contribute to their academic and personal growth.

Salary posted is based on Step schedule 1-10.

Job Qualifications

• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and growth.
• Assess student progress regularly through quizzes, tests, projects, and other evaluation methods.
• Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their language skills.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and classroom activities.
• Collaborate with other members of the Spanish department to develop and enhance curriculum materials.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in language instruction.
• Must have or working toward NYS Spanish 7-12 certification.
